Plextor's high standards for dependability and performance are also now available for CD-Recording. The Plexwriter writes your data at 4X and reads at a maximum speed of 12X. The PlexWriter offers an amazing 5MB/sec data transfer rate and a 190 ms access time. The combination of a Fast SCSI burst rate, low CPU utilization, a large 2MB buffer and synchronous data transfer all add up to increase the efficiency and the reliability of CD writing. The PlexWriter supports all major recordable CD-R discs.
Plextor's new CD-recorder is equipped with a caddy-loading mechanisme to protect the CD-R discs from dust and scratches. The complete kit will contain : CD-Recorder, 2 blanc media, WinOnCD 3.5 and Packet CD 2.0 CD-Recording software, 1 empty caddy and a 3 languages manual. Plextor backs up the PlexWriter with one year warranty and full technical support.
