We are an independent newsroom built for Europe's founders, engineers, policymakers, and curious minds. No hype. No click-bait. Just rigorous, original reporting on the technology reshaping our continent.
For too long, European technology coverage was an afterthought — a footnote in publications built for Silicon Valley. TechPulse Europe exists to change that.
We cover the stories that matter here: Brussels regulation before it makes global headlines, the deep-tech spinouts coming out of ETH Zürich and INRIA, the ransomware campaigns hitting European hospitals, and the founders building category-defining companies in Berlin, Warsaw, Stockholm and Lisbon.
"We don't translate American tech news for a European audience. We break European tech news for the world."
Founded in 2021, TechPulse Europe is owned by its editorial team. We accept no investment from technology companies, no sponsored editorial, and no advertorial. Our revenue comes from reader subscriptions, display advertising sold on open terms, and our annual Summit events.
Every article on TechPulse Europe begins with a reporter making phone calls, filing FOIA requests, or sitting in a courtroom. We do not aggregate or rewrite press releases.
No advertiser has ever influenced our coverage. No investor has a seat at our editorial table. Our Corrections Policy is public and strictly enforced.
We have reporters based in Brussels, Berlin, Warsaw, Stockholm, Paris, and Lisbon. We do not treat "Europe" as shorthand for Western Europe.
When the EU AI Act changes, when a zero-day hits European infrastructure, when a startup raises a landmark round — we are first. Accuracy is never traded for speed.
We explain why a story matters, not just what happened. Every significant piece includes context, data, and expert perspectives — not just quotes from press offices.
Each beat has a dedicated team of reporters, editors and analysts. We don't spread generalists thin — we build deep expertise in every area we cover.
Our team of 14 journalists, editors and analysts spans eight countries. Each brings deep domain expertise — not just editorial skill.

Our editorial standards aren't a public relations document. They're the rules every reporter on our team signs before their first byline.
No story publishes without at least two independent sources for any material claim. For investigations, this bar rises to documentary evidence plus sources. We would rather be second than wrong.
Every subject of a critical story receives a detailed right-of-response request with a minimum 24-hour window, regardless of deadline pressure. All responses are included verbatim or fairly summarised.
Corrections are labelled clearly at the top of articles with a datestamp and description of what changed and why. We never silently edit published pieces. Significant corrections are also announced to subscribers.
Reporters disclose any financial interest in companies they cover. Gifts above €20 in value are declined or donated to charity. Review products are returned after testing unless explicitly noted.
We do not trade embargo access for favourable coverage. If an embargo condition attempts to influence editorial framing, we reject the embargo and publish when ready.
Any article that used AI tools in research or drafting is labelled accordingly. AI-generated text is never published without full human editing and verification. Synthetic images are disclosed.
